Well, I believe I am starting to feel better in the nausea department. Still dreadfully tired all the time. All week I kept telling myself I was going to do something Friday night. Unfortunately, as soon as I got home I was in the recliner and was out till 7. I ate half a sandwich, watched a movie on tv and was out again. Sometimes I just need sleep.
This morning Ryan and I went to Teverna's on 2nd in Austin for a Valentines Breakfast. I hate going anywhere nice because I know I wont be able to eat most of my meal. I used to go there quite often with Ryan and friends for their happy hour type brunch. They would have five dollar bottomless mimosas and belinis. There were many afternoon hangovers from this place. I noticed on the menu they are no longer having this great deal, though the drinks are a dollar each now.
Ryan ate a shrip and asparagus omlete with fresh sqeezed orange juice. I had a classic eggs benedict and a decaf latte. I also had it for lunch. We were going to walk around down town for a little bit but it was a bit chilly and I did not dress accordingly. We took some detours around town and eventually made it back home.
I took a four hour nap which was much needed after our morning adventure. Ryan went and worked out during this time and watched the UT basketball game.
We went up to the outlets and walked around a bit. I bought some new shoes and stretchy expandable shirts. We were looking for some suits for Ryan for our cruise but decided to hold off on that for a couple weeks. We ate dinner and Jason's deli and now I am going to lay in bed and watch tv to recover from this last outing. For you active people this may seem like a dull and restful day. For me, it has wipped me out. Sweet Dreams.
There is 29 days till we set sail on our cruise over spring break. We are very excited for a new adventure!
Here is a three month mini baby bumb picture. Please excuse the messy hair and no make up, I had just woken up. My puppy also wanted to take part in our photo session.

Preggo Updates: TUMS is my new bff
I have almost been as bad of a blogger as I am a friend right now. I have been consumed with my own happenings I haven't spent time or talked with all the special people in my life! I hope I can do better!
I have made it to 3 months! 12 pounds later myself and my baby are still alive. I should stop eating, I am not suppose to gain more than 5 in the first trimester you say??!! Well that is the problem I can't eat and have lost 12 pounds! However my pants still don't fit around the waist! Apparently everything is being rearranged in there. Maybe why I felt so nauseated for the last 8 weeks. Ryan says he never sees me because I am sleeping. I have always needed lots of sleep so now staying up till 9 is a real chore.
Funny things about pregnancy that aren't TMI: I will be deathly starving all of sudden and it just wont go away. As soon as I have food in front of me and I take a couple bites I am absolutely revolted by the meal and full to the brim. Food aversions: chocolate. So sad, not even a Hersey Kiss... ugh my stomach just turned.
I feel that I am slowly able to eat more and the nauseousness is lessening. Unfortunately a new symptom has crept up on me this last week: indigestion. Last night Taco Bell was not the best choice. I suffered all evening, night, and morning. We learn from our mistakes. Today something as simple as a Root Beer. Does this mean no more soda? So unfair, first no Mexican Martinis (I miss you) and now soda. I have never been a good water drinker...
Baby Brain is getting worse. I keep walking somewhere at home or school and forget to bring the papers I was going to make copies of or walk into the bedroom and stare, hopefully I will realize what I am doing. Twice I have taken the dog out to pee and completely forgot her leash... not good in a busy apt complex. Ohhh the hope for a backyard eventually....
Here is a little copy and past of what is happening with this incubator I have become:
The most dramatic development this week: Reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over two inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce.
Non- preg news:
Work is EXTREMELY stressful right now. Reading TAKS test in 2 weeks- my life will be much easier after that. I miss summer.
Ryan's grandfather had surgery on his hip yesterday after a bad fall that broke some bones. He seems to be recovering alright, he is in our prayers.
Sophie turns 1 year old at the end of the month.... should we have a doggie b-day party?
Hope this finds everyone well! Lets pray for spring weather... no more cold!
